| Don't stress TOO much about your weight gain. I gained 42lbs total with my son, which was way over what I was "supposed"to gain. |

| I was 17 weeks when i found out that i was going to have a baby. My weight was 110 and i did not dain a pound in the first three months. Now i am at 24 weeks and the last time i saw my doctor i weighed 115. I go back in on the 16 and i think that i weigh about 120-130. by a scale at work i used. my doctor didn't tell me how much weight i had to gain. But it is hard for me to gain weight. Since i was about 110 or 11 i weighed 110. I cannot lose or gain wieght. |

I gained 50 with my first, 40 with my second and 25 with my third. When I decided to have a third, I followed a different strategy. I was very precise with my nutrition, controlled my blood sugar (I am not diabetic), but this really helped with weight gain (The Zone diet is a great resource). Feel free to email me with nutritional questions.

If it is hard for you to gain weight then eat some kind of food supplement like multivitamins vitamins.. eat a balance diet and rich in protein...

You tend to gain weight during pregnancy. I know of people who have gained much more weight than 50 lbs. It's natural. So stop worrying & enjoy every moment of the changes occurring that your facing. Welcome your child with a smile Wish you all the very best! |
