any young moms?

There are several on this board who are in their late teens. I probably wouldn't be considered a young mom since I'm 25, but just wanted to point out that I'm right up the road from you in Va Beach.

I am pregnant with my first child (only a few weeks along) and I am seventeen. So yes, I'm a very young mommie. =)

Wow that's great. I guess it's better to have them young, while you still have some energy to run after them.

I got pregnant with my first child when I was 18. I am now 22 and pregnant with my second. It is good having them young, but it is a lot of work. I think there is no certain time or age though to have a baby. Even if you are older there are always things that can come into your life to make you unprepared. As long as you love your child and do everything in your power to keep them healthy and happy then you're a good mom no matter the age. But if you are young I would not suggest trying to get pregnant, but if it happens, it can be handled.
