My husband and I are getting ready to try for our second baby soon. Since I am a teacher, I'd like to have my baby May, June or EARLY July (My son was born August 26, 2003 which ment my third trimester was June, July and August-YUCK)

This was our plan last time, however I had assumed that I'd get pregnant right away (silly assumption) and it took almost five months.

So here is my question for those of you pregnant again- did you get pregnant quicker this time around? I have heard from people that once you have been pregnant your body "gets it"and concieving should happen sooner.

I am looking to avoid another sticky summer of a large belly, I'm sure plenty of you can appreciate this!

My 1st took almost 2yrs and my 2nd took about 3months. I even had complications from my 1st & was told it could take awhile to preg. again. Boy were we surprised.

It all varies I suppose it was two years between my two boys and 8 years between my second lol.. gl i hope it works for you both...mandy

It took about 4 months for my first and it was RIGHT away when we decided it was time for the second (14 months apart). And I'm 40 yrs. old-so my eggs are OLD!!! LOL

With our first child it took about a month to get pregnant. Our second pregnancy was when our son was just over 9 months but I lost that baby and then it took another 5 months before I became pregnant with our daughter.
