| I am a first time mom and I was wondering when you switch from a newborn nipple on the bottle to stage 2? Aidan is going to be 2 months and I am still using a newborn. THANX |

I switched from slow flow to fast flow nipples as my son's appetite increased(can't remember his age) and when I noticed he was getting frustrated with the slow flow nipples because the formula wasn't coming out quick enough. You'll get cues from him. If he seems content with the current nipples, I wouldn't switch.
Also, check the newborn nipple package/box to see the recommendations. |

Nathan is nearly 7 motnhs old and i still use stage 1... his sucktion is too strong for a higher stage....
try your baby with stage 2 and if you see that it leaks too much or he swallows too much and chokes on it, then stay with a stage 1 |

| you will know when he is ready to be switched to stage 2 nipples. your baby will get frustracted with the nipple ans thats how you know to change. Nicole |
