I was told by my gp that to boost my chances of falling pregnant i should lose weight, now Iagree that I need to lose weight and am in the process of doing just that, but is this something anyone else has run into or is it crap?

I have heard that being overweight or underweight can hurt your chances of fertility. Although it is much worse if you are underweight.

Yes I have to agree - overweight or underweight can effect your chances. But hey - doesn't say it won't happen but try lose a bit to help even more. The very best of British to you!

The less weight you have to carry around whist pregnant the easier it will be for you anyway. Also gives you that extra energy boost!
