I think it's a great place to live. I've lived here in the Richmond area for about 12 years. I lived in Northern VA (about 45 miles west of Washington) for a good chunk of my early life. The great thing about Virginia is that you have skiing and swimming about an hour and a half away from each other. Plus, if you're a history freak like me, you have plenty to do!

Hello. I am not new here, but nobody probably recognizes me. I used to post here over a year and a half ago, and haven't been here since it has become a members only board. Used to be a bunch of bogus posts here, looks better now. I used to be totally devoted to this board until the mod banned me (misunderstanding, my IP matches someone elses, he thought I was her) and I found another site, which I am now addicted to. 99% of the members from here are now there, but i thought I would check it out here and see how it's been. I don't really see anyone I recognize, but of course, everyone may have changed their user names. Hope to make some new friends too though.
