Hi all,, Im new here and I have a question,, Lost my mucouse plug yesterday and had contractions all night that were 10 mins apart,, went to hospital up to labor and delivery this morning and at that time contractions went to 1 and a halph mins apart,, they examined me and found me to be 50% efaced and 1 centimeter dilated,, my question is since this is my 3rd child do I have much longer?? first labor lasted over 24 hours and second one was 8 hours,, please respond. thanks

You may last about 1-2 more days depending on what your contractions do. If they get to the point where you can't talk through them you need to go to the hospital. I hope you all the luck in the world everything will be fine. When is your due date? It would be neat if you would have had it today the 30th thats my Birthday. You will be fine. Smile

Hi. I just had my first baby 16 days ago but I wanted to tell you that I was 3 cm dilated & 80% effaced for THREE weeks before my water broke & I delivered! Good luck!

Good Luck to you. You probally don't have long. Have you tried walking that is what helped me. Like you I am pregnant with my third. Keep us posted. But you probally won't be in active labor long.
