I'd like to know if anyone checked the Chinese Gender Chart when they were pregnant and if it ended up being correct or not.
Thanks!
Terri

I tried it and it said I was going to have a boy.... I also looked up old wives' tales and they said I was going to have a boy.... August 24 I had a very healthy baby girl! By the chinese thing there was like no way I could have a girl, but I did. I think it is just a guess and it may happen kind of thing! Good luck though!

In addition to the chinese gender chart, has anyone tried the old wives tale of dangling a pin (or wedding ring) from a string and holding it over your belly? If it goes in circles, it's supposed to be a girl, back and forth is supposed to be a boy.
Both this one and the chinese chart correctly predicted the girl I had the first time. They both predict a girl again, but I was just wondering how accurate these had been for others in the past.
Thanks!
Terri

I just did the chinese gender chart yesterday and It said I'm having a boy; I'm expecting a girl. But I did a quiz on the internet as well that had a bunch of different old wives tales questions and it was right! I think theyre both hit or miss!

Keep in mind that the Chinese gender chart goes by the lunar calendar, not the Gregorian one. According to it I'm having a girl.

Old wives' tales point to a girl. My husband is in the Navy and he's a nuke. They tend to have girls. My family is predominantly female. The new generation of his family is nothing but girls.

Some how we broke every single trend and we're having a boy.

It worked for me. One of my co-workers had one that she used for almost 15 years and it was only wrong once; the couple concieved at the end of the month. I also consulted a chinese friend and she said it is also dependent on the chinese new year.

I looked up the chinese gender chart with both of my children and they told me with my son that he would be a girl and with my girl that she would be a boy.
