I just had a question I am a first time mom and I will be 8 months along in two weeks and I was just wondering if having lower back pain on the left side is anything to worry about? I don't know if I pulled a muscle or if it has to do with pregnancy. Another question is I had sex for the first time in about a month and I was on top if that would have anything to do with having back pains. Sorry about the sex question but being a first time mom I needed to ask. Please give your advise I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

totally normal....you are getting to that stage. back pain is common and can start or be irritated by anything. Sitting too much, sex, leaning forward, sleeping, many things can contribute to worsened back pain. Your just getting to that point!! A little over 2 months for you then it will start getting better. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I am still waiting for it!!

With my son when I was pregnant I got bad pain in my back when I sat for too long. It can also depend on where the baby is sitting in the womb. My sister at 7 months had pain in her pelvic area because my little niece sat there. Hope this helps.
