I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have been having my HCG levels monitored since they thought that I might possibly have an ectopic pregnancy. The ectopic was ruled out and now they think that it may be molar since my HGC levels jumped from 888 one day to 5,900 2 days later. Could there be another cause or is it normal for the HCG levels to take a jump like that? Help!!!

When I saw your post I did some research this is what I found. In a total molar pregnancy your levels of HCG can be alot higher. So, it is probably that or a possiblity of twins. I hope everything turns out well.
