My wife and I recently had our first son. I love being a dad; I find it very fulfilling and exhausting! I am studying marriage and family therapy as a graduate student and I am very interested in how couples maintain strong, happy relationships after the birth of their first child. I am conducting research at Purdue University Calumet looking at first-time parents who are presently in a relationship and have their first child between the ages of 6-12 months. If this applies to you, please click on the icon below to be directed to the study. This is an IRB approved study (IRB #0611004661) where your individual results will be kept confidential and the findings will be published to help therapists in working with new parents. Participation is voluntary, thank you for your time.

I came across a good site that would explain this in a better way. Its catered to dads. It should help you.

Good Luck.
