Hi! I'm new here and am VERY confused. Here's my (long) story.....
I had a tubal in 10/95. My periods were always on time up until Sept. then it was 7 days late and was much lighter than usual. In Oct., it came exactly on the day expected and was also lighter than normal. Well this month..nothing. (should have came on the 6th) I've had some mild cramping like I'm about to start but that's it. I took a generic hpt today and it was neg. I don't have breast tenderness, no nausea, but I am having quite a bit of discharge(sorry) and my lower abdomen kind of feels bloated.
Does this sound like I could be pregnant?
Thanks in advance! |

Well, you may be pregnant, but pretty much all pregnancy tests work the same, generic or not. I would suggest you redo a test, and at least call the doctors office and talk to a triage nurse. I don't want to scare you, but it sounds a lot like what happened one time when I miscarried.

MammaMarsha, thanks for replying. I am going to buy another test tomorrow. Should I use first morning urine? If so, can I save it or should I just wait until the next morning. I just really want to know already!!
Thanks again. |

I've been pregnant 12 times. We have a five year old and a one year old, and I'm pregnant. The other 9 pregnancies ended in miscarraige. I never once have tested in the morning, and have never had a test that wasn't correct. You do have a higher concentration of HCG in first urine, though. Just remember that if there are two lines, no matter how faint the positive is, it is still correct!
