Hi Everyone,
Okay, so every book and doctor is saying that since cerain amount of weeks... starting approximately 12 to 14 depending on the source...
as sleeping on the stomic is out of the question from now on and sleeping on the back is supposed to be so baaaaaaaaaaaad for you and the baby as cutting off the oxygen and as puting waight on some nerves causing some bad swelling or nerve itch in legs and alike ...
so they want you to sleep on the side.
so.. I started to sleep on my sides really early as they suggested. But.. the bigger I get the more sore my sides hurts in the middle of the night especially in the pelvic area - you know where the leg joins the rest of the body - there! and since I have only two sides so after couple of hours down the night I ren out of sides
so.. few nights ago I just folded in half an old king size down comforter and am sleeping on it ever since. works like a charm . It gives so much cozinezz to my bones and sides in generall that it is beautiful and aslo somehow it hugs my belly so I don't need so much the pillow I was using.
Maby not all of you had the same problem but for those who like me like hard bed as opposed to soft that is just not good for back... I found myself now in tight corner.. so my down top just did the trick.
I hope some of you might have similar problem and use similar solution. |

You can sleep on your stomach or back as long as you're comfortable.
I had to buy body pillows and sleep on them. Still not quite comfortable, but better than I am without it. |

| I use body pillows too, but I wish I would haved saved the money and tried the comforter first. I can't wait until I can sleep on my stomach again! |

| I also found a solution! I sleep on the couch..lol I have one of the couches that is lined with removable pillows and it leans back just enough to keep me from rolling onto my tummy or having to use a pillow under my belly or leg. YAY!!! I thought I was going to keel over from lack of comfortable sleep and my fiancee was about to kick me out of the bed anyway cause I was keeping him up all night long!!! lol Poor guy works long days 5 days a week, leaves for work at 4 am gets home at 8 pm .. We are both happy with the arrangement !!! |
