Friday I went to the OB for my 37 week appointment. Turns out that my water had partially broken several days before. They sent me to the hospital, where I was induced.
7:38 Saturday morning Lucas was born. He was two and a half weeks early.
6 pounds 6.8 ounces
19.75 inches

I barely remember much of it. I know that I tried to go natural. I made it twelve hours before I asked for an epidural. I was 8 cm by then.
After that it took another 5 hours before I got to start pushing. I pushed for maybe an hour and a half. I had a first degree tear that required one stitch, which is internal.
He's a great baby. Definitely a momma's boy. He's happiest with me. He doesn't mind his father that much either. He's getting used to his grandmother. |

Congratulations he is so cute. You are so lucky you were supposed to go on the 29th like me but you got to go early. I am so happy for you. I am glad that you didn't have a hard labor. Hopefully I go early to. I started having contractions last night but they weren't steady so we will have to see. Again Congratulations  |
