Hi Gina. I read a bit in the What to Expect ... last night and I saw the thing about amniotic fluid infection. Apparently it doesnt have to have anything to do with a STD. It can but it doesnt have to. You can also get it from poor nutrition, being around sick people., sex ( without a condom) etc. So there is no need to feel ashamed about your aunt. And if there is an infection in the body, the body;s's reation to protect he baby is to go into laour and get it out. Hope this helps some. You can check it if you have the book its in the seventh month.
