If your periods are irregular it may be hard to know when the earliest you can take a pregnancy test, but I would take one just the same. Then perhaps take another in a week or two. The withdrawal method will often not stop you getting pregnant. If you don't want to conceive I'd recommend starting to use some kind of birth control. Best wishes.
