It's tricky. The doctors have their reasons for telling you to do this and that to try to conceive a male or female, but ultimately it's up to God. I have an acquaintance who bought the book and stuff to have a boy. They did every last step all the way to her husband drinking a cup of coffee 30 minutes before TTC. They were sure they would have a boy and, sure enough, they had a girl. They're still happy, obviously, because they were able to conceive and have a baby, period. I'm not sure if they'll do it again next time, though. Good luck! Hopefully you'll get what you want--but either way, rejoice.
