Lara's feedings will slow down as she gets more regulated. I know I can't really "help" Brayla get regulated, but I've been trying not to maker her to go sleep during the day. If she's awake I'll take her outside to rock in the rocking chair or we'll sit up and just "talk". This morning I sang to her for a while.

Brayla only feeds about 3 times at night (around 3-4 hour intervals) these days, but she's been getting a little feisty around 11pm-midnight and suddenly her eyes are WIDE OPEN. She'll just fuss for a while, but she's not hungry, she's not very tired, and she doesn't have a dirty diaper. Her pediatrician said that all babies sometimes cry for no reason--some called it colic, but that term is so outdated. She's not "colicy", but she will throw a fit every once in a while. The doctor said that fits don't usually start until after they are 3 weeks old--well, guess what! We're just over 3 weeks now so I guess it's time.

So you can see the little blond spot on her head? It's so funny--her hair is so dark and then that one little spot of blond right on her right temple. Her grandfather has that, too, so maybe it'll stay. They said it might be a birthmark. Cool!

Love ya,
