: That would scare me a little bit. Is there another doctor in the same office so that you can ask for a second opinion? Since my water broke two weeks early I never had to deal with a late delivery. The joke in my family is that my little brother came a month late, but my mom didn't have to deal with meconium aspiration. Is there any reason why your doctor is so sure that you don't have to worry about this again? Have they done another sonogram in the last week or so???

My midwife said that alot of babies are born covered in meconium, and that the chances of them aspirating it aren't that great. She said that the likely hood of it happening again is quite slim. The specialist isnt worried about it at all. I guess I am just a little worried because it was terrible for my husband and I to see our beautiful son in an incubator however I am being optimistic about it all and if I dont have this baby by tuesday I will be induced and will get to hold her very soon. Thanx for all your in put. It is much appreciated.
