summer, as bad as it sounds, its your mil's house and if she wants she can have the dogs running around. now why she decided to do it right now, is something you have to ask her. i mean, why the removal of the gate? also, if she doesn't want to put the gate back, you will have to keep your daughter away from the dogs, in her bedroom or something. but i would definetely cinfront her and ask why the dogs are on the lose and if she thinks they are more important than your little one.
