My beautiful baby girl was born October 28th @4:29pm weighing 7lb 1oz. My birth story......I was 13 days over my due date and was schduled for inducement. I went to the maternity hospital at 8:30am and my midwife started me on the jelly. I was put on the CTG monitor for an hour and a half and then allowed to walk around. At 2pm I was put on the monitor again for half an hour then I was given more Jelly and put on the monitor again to make sure I didnt have a bad reaction to the drug. At 3pm I started having irregular contractions and at 3:30pm was taken off the monitor. I was moved to a delivery suite and took a shower. The contractions came on fast and strong and before I knew it my little girl was born 59 minutes after regular contractions started. Even though the birth was only an hour long it was very painful and I am glad it is over. I love my little girl she is so precious. Her name is Cerys Shelby Lorraine.
