It really depends on the sensitivity of the test that you use and how much hormone is in your body. I've had great results (3 days before my expected period) with clear blue easy. It picks up 50 miu of the hcg hormone. Many of the tests in stores require 100 miu... Do some searching on the internet and see if you can find out about the other tests, and GOOD LUCK!
