: : Could I be having signs of early labor? The baby has already dropped. I have constant lower back pain. The intensity of the pain varies, but it's always there. It feels like I have a really bad period. One minute I feel like I have the flu, Diarrhea, like I want to vomit, the next minute I am fine. Lately I feel like I'm going to have the diarrhea so bad, but I don't have to go. Plus I,m still working. I'm almost 37 weeks and boss is giving me a hard time about going on maturnity leave. This isn't helping me any.

: Well labor feels like you have to take a poop really bad. Period cramps Thats a good way of syaing it, Sometimes they can feel really bad then others not, so its not true labor but you are haveing contractions. they are b/h (braton hicks) but if they start (the pain or cramping)gets closer together and they hurt were you want to cry then i would see you're doctor, but then they should be about 5 mins apart or so, they could be the real thing too they just haven't gotten close together yet. But they will

start to drink plenty of water, and lay down on ur right side if it doesnt go away call ur doctor. It may be preterm labor.
