: Hi, i'm 19, a freshman in college, raised in a strick asian family, pregnant and feeling sick.
: I'm really scared. My boyfriend, who'll be the father of my child is scared as well. We want to keep the baby, we know our consequences and risks, and what are future will be like. However, i am scared, scared of how my life will change and how having this child may affect my relationship with my family. I'm scared of how we will survive, we both dont have a degree, no stable job that will support us financially, no medical insurance, no car. Yet he loves me and i him. Worst of all i am feeling soo sick and it hasnt been 2 months, i'm scared to go to the docters because i dont know how i will pay the medical bills...what should i do?

I'm young too. I'm 18 and a college freshman and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I know how you feel being scared. My family took our big news rather well and are not mad, however my family isn't really what I would call very strict as yours is. But you do need to tell them. They may help you two and support you, you don't know until you break the news to them. Also you can get help for your medical bills if you have no money. Me and my b/f can't pay the extremely expensive med bills that comes with having a baby, so I have a medical card. Which means I get help from the government to pay the medical bills and it doesn't cost me anything. I'm sure you are eldgible if you are going to school and don't have a job. Go to this site, www.plannedparenthood.com , they help many young women like you in crisis pregnancies. You can look and see if there is one near you. You can talk to them there about your financial worries and they will probably offer you all kinds of services for help. They'll talk to you and your b/f, and give you all kinds of helpful advice. You really need to go to the doctor asap!! Early prenatal care is very important for you and the baby. You also need to think about telling your family. They may be upset but I'm sure they'll accept you and the baby after they cool off. Do you know how far along you are?? Please email me if you need to talk or have questions, my email is SwEeT_kAnDy_2000@hotmail.com. Good luck!!
