After I had my first child I continued to use a belted pad for a while and then just at night. I've never used tampons because I'm yeast infection prone so I've always worn pads. Once I found out that the drug store I shop at carried tabbed napkins I started using the belt again on heavy days. I have to admit it might not be fashionable but I do find that the pad stays right where it's sapposed to. I have to agree with Trina that it feels much more secure. Why are the belts so hard to find though, is it really that uncommon?

: Hi -
: I'm 27, and the hospital gave me sanitary belts on the way home (and while I was there) that go with these really large napkins. I've only used sticky pads before for my period, but these belts seem to work well (they hold the pad close, doesn't move, doesn't still to me - ouch!). Has anyone ever used them for monthly before? I'd like to find smaller pads if I can, but they seem to work well for my periods so far (better than the sticky at least for security and comfort).
: Thanks
