I had my 39 week appointment yesterday - the doctor estimated the size of the baby using an ultrasound . . . he's already 9lbs! I'm having a few contractions, every now and then, but nothing real painfull. My cervix is also completely closed. He promised he won't let me go beyond my due date of 02/03/04 and will enduce by then if I haven't gone into labor.
Anyone else ever been in a similar situation? What can I expect with induction?
