With my second child I was induced as I was 13 days past my due date. I checked in at the maternity hospital at 8am and was monitered and given the inducing gel sorry not sure what it was called. Then at 2pm my midwife gave me an internal and the mcus plug came away. She gave me another treat ment of gel and monitered me again for an hour. At 3pm I started getting irregular contractions and at 3:30 I had regular contractions. Our baby was born an hour later. My labour was quick. My best friend was induced and her labour was 5 hours it verys. Good luck.
