Alot of things can affect getting pregnant so soon after another baby. First are you breastfeeding? That can really mess your period up. Stress from having a new baby can delay ovulation and that could be why AF was late. Postpartum hormones can mess with your period just as much as breastfeeding can and can delay it. Until you start having regular periods(if they were regular prebaby) your ovulation will not be on track. Because your last one was late I'd guess that it isn't on track yet. Depending when your period is due you could always test.
If you do not want to be pregnant right now you should really discuss options with dh before you have sex again.
