I decided to take a pg test on the tuesday and it was negative. i have had no bleeding so i take it i cant have miscarried but my period is still not come. has this happened to anyone else cos im a tad confused!

Hi,

Taking a preg. test the day your period is due is much to early to give you an accurate result. You should wait at least a week or more so that you have enough pregnancy hormone (hcg) present in you so that you get an accurate result.
You haven't miscarried, you are probably just late because of stress, a change in your diet, your routine, or one of many reasons could be causing you to be late.
Also, frequent urination or going to the bathroom often is a symtom of pregnancy which you don't experience until usually the last trimester when the baby is moving lower and there is pressure on your bladder.
I hope that I have been of some help to you and I wouldn't worry. You could try testing in another week if you don't get your period or make an appt with your doctor.

Just curious-- why did you test the day your period was due?? Most people wait at least a few days...
