My daughter has reactive airway...we have an Optichamber (similar to what LoriK has), and we spray the Albuterol into that and they breathe it in thru the mask. One thing I'd day....my son, although the wheezing stopped within 7-10 days w/nebulizer treatments and the Albuterol....he continued to cough for the next 3 or 4 weeks. Good luck. : So just a warning to all mommies and daddies...watch that cold! If they start wheezing, bring them to the doctor ASAP just in case!!

My son developed RSV when he was 3 months old and bronchiolitis. He was put on liquid Albuterol also.
: Please watch your little one if they get a cold. My 6 month old started coughing on a Friday night. By Saturday evening he had a slight fever (99.9) and the doc told me to give him purple Triaminic before bedtime. On Monday they told me to give him the cough syrup twice a day. By Tuesday, he was wheezing. They diagnosed RSV and scared the heck out of me by debating on whether or not to admit him to the hospital! They decided that since he was eating, his color was good and he was playing and laughing, that they wouldn't admit him. They sent him home with liquid Albuteral to help with the wheezing. I stayed up with him all night because I was afraid to death that he would stop breathing. I brought him back to the doctor the next day and his regular pediatrician put him on a nebulizer for breathing treatments every 4-6 hours. I'm glad to say that he is almost back to normal!
