I know how you feel--I think many parents have been in your position. It sounds like you desperately need some time away from your son, first of all. You need to take care of yourself emotionally. Can you get your partner, friend, babysitter to watch him for even an hour or two a day so you can get some "me" time??? Also, perhaps he needs more stimulation. My son is an absolute angel outside of the apt. He likes going to the mall, riding in the car. He really only acts up (shrieks, arches his back, grumbles nonstop) when he is tired and needs to sleep.
