Sad and pathetic question!

I'm a stay-at-home mom in a small-ish town, with no family nearby besides my husband and baby. I would like to find some kind of a new moms group or playgroup or something so I can get out of this house and interact with someone over a year old! The problem is that I have no clue how to find such a group. Any suggestions?
