Baby ear rings

I was wondering if anyone has gotten their baby's
ears pierced. Trinity has her 6 month check up
next week so I plan on getting her Dr's opinion.
But I was wondering if anyone else has gotten it
done and at what age? I think it's cute but I
don't want to hurt her in any way and I although
I see babies all the time with earings, I still
want to make sure it's safe by her Dr.
