: : My boy is a big eater and drank a lot of formula. As of late he has lost interest in drinking from his bottle. He drinks one full bottle in the AM but only 7-8 oz the rest of the day. My MIL has been letting him drink from her glass with soda or something in it and I think she's been giving him milk too, ugh ;{, Is he self weaning off of his bottle or not interested in formula because he's been getting sugary drinks/milk. How do I know if he's getting enough to drink? : Hey Sue, I of course will probably get reemed for this but, I started Madie on whole milk a couple of weeks ago. SHe tolerates it great and LOVES it! I am still giving her forumla most of the time (for nutrients) but we have her on about 1 milk bottle a day. I am going to start weening her off the formula completely soon! There is nothing wrong with it. I was on whole milk from 3mos. on and my sister was raised on it from the start. We turned out just fine! And it's a hell of a lot cheaper then Formula! : Don't stress it's ok! : Jennifer S.

I totally agree. My brother was allergic to all formulas out there. He was raised on whole milk since birth and is very intelligent. Milk affecting the brain is a total myth.
