I also posted a while back about depression, about 3 n half years agos i got it really bad,
wishing i was dead i never had sucide thoughts but weird thoughts like getting cancer and dying that way. Sucide sounded to selfish for me as i had a daughter. In the end i went and saw a doctor who gave me antidepressents i was not on them long enough to know of any affects although they made me like a zombie!! I pulled my socks up and got out more with friends etc, If i needed to talk to someone i ring up my good friend it eased a little.
Last yr i had another daughter and post-natal depression has hit me big time. I havent seen a doctor this time as i feel a bit silly. So insteed of sitting at home i go out to my friends we go to a pub for a lunch go to the park and slowly the depression lifts a bit. You really have to keep your mind occupied during this time.
sorry ive not been much help but i hope its helped a little :o)
good luck & i wish you the best x
