My kids are so dramatically different than most that I have a hard time giving out advice. But I do have helpful shopping tips. Whatever formula you have your child on- you should be enrolled in that formula makers baby club (send out samples and coupons). Sign up your family members, friends, etc. Also- if you are industrious- sign up for the other formula clubs as well and then trade the formula/coupons for your brand (online there are many places like www.mycoupons.com or parentsplace.com that have trading boards). Right now- chain grocery stores have a great deal going. Buy any formula (similac, enfamil) and get a coupon (catalina- print out) for a free can of Carnation Supreme Good Start. Trade them. Also- at your doc office, check to see if you can find any similac coupons. These can be COMBINED with the formula checks. My two year old eats baby oatmeal mixed with formula- so I still buy it. I have him (and his brother) drinking half and half (the stuff you put in coffee). It has tons of fat (kids need fat for brain development) and 40 cal/oz. It's perfect for my kids who would be severely underweight without it. :0) Dana
