: My 11/2 year old got sand papaer dry patches on her back and shoulders I took her to the doctor they told me she had excema they prescribed lotions and potions and the whole nine yards but the best treatment i ran on to by accident alpha hydroxy face cream clears it up in one or two days treatment what the prescription lotions won't touch!!! : : Has anyone got any suggestions on what is the best treatment and maybe what is causing this? He has not had any skin problems before and is only having homemade veges anf baby rice and fruit. : : Thanks in advance My son has excema and I've been searching for the cause and cure for more than 6 months. He has allergies to milk and peanuts, which he doesn't eat. But, he is also sensitive to fresh fruit, especially melon, tomatos, kiwi, and if he has too much his excema will be worse.
