It is so hard, but it does work. See right now, baby knows that when she crys, you will come. Thats what she's doing to you. She needs to soothe herself. Im having a hard time doing it,but it is for the best. Sometimes, I will let him cry for 10-15 mins (seems like forever) and if it doesnt stop, then I just go up to the crib, of course baby is standing up, and lay him down maybe bend over and give him a hug and say night night, that way baby knows your there. I find the crying doesnt last as long. They still stand up, but I find it does help. Good luck
