Baby sleeps in our bed

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to get my 17 mo. old to sleep in his room?? I'm Having much trouble getting him to bed,sleeps with us every night. Dad is on the couch and baby and mom sleep in bed or mom on couch and dad and baby on couch everynight for about 8 months now. Really bad for his dad and I!!!! Please help!!
