: Hi
: My 9 month old weighs 17.10 lbs. (Has lost weight due to canker sores)I had posted earlier about his his new eating habits. He wants only formula.
: His doc said that I should not feed more than 24 onces and, when he gets really hungry he'll eat solids. I just wanted for advise on what 9 month old eats and how much. Any advise would be grateful.

: Thank you

My son was also eating the same thing we ate (of course without as much spice) at 9 months. I think it also depends on how many teeth they have at that point. My son had all his front teeth, but no molars. But if you cut up soft meats (chicken, ham, hot dogs cut into small bites), they can eat that. Mac and cheese is a good one because it is pretty soft...but again, you may have to cut it up smaller. And of course...veggies cut up too!!! My son also loves peaches or apple sauce, so that is a good "dessert!"

Best of luck!

Hugs,

Beth S.
