She was a compulsive cleaner, sterilizer etc. More or less kept her baby sheltered from germs(to a certain extent) pacifier was NEVER dirty , bottles, people had to wash hands, bleached everthing etc. and well one day she left her little one with her Mom and well the next day her little one had blisters all on and in her mouth, well she called her Mom and took baby to the Dr.and The Dr. had told she had done such a fine job sterilizing everthing but when Grandma watched her she never sterilized and baby had a reaction. So thats why in my post I had said 'to a certain extent' I still believe that over time, you build immunes, yes you are correct in saying newborns don't have immunes. But it's not like people are saying 'take baby to the SARS ward at a hospital' I guess just after I heard my friends Moms story I changed my thoughts. Thanks again for not posting back angry, like I said I was not trying to start anything, I just felt real stupid after reading your post. cause I believed it to be true(to a certain extent)(lol)
