How old is your baby? Both of my girls started sleeping in a twin bed when they learned to walk. My father made them a little stool out of foam even though they were able to climb on their bed without but was easier for them to climb up. I just put a toddler bed rail on the side. They loved it because they had so much more room to move around in than the crib.
