It took me 2 yrs. to conceive after stopping birth control pills. I got so frustrated and thought we couldn't conceive, I had given up on trying and decided to see a fertility spec. at the beg. of the yr. which was prob. 3 mos away. But when the begining of the yr. came I found out I was preg. I was told the stress of trying to get preg. can actually have neg. effects on your body. Depending on your age, after trying 1-2yrs I would see a dr. to make sure either of you don't have probs. just to ease your minds. I'm trying for baby #2 and hope it doesn't take so long this round. Good luck to you and your dh and hope your blessed with a bundle of joy soon.
