That is true on rare occasions, but a clear discharge should always still be checked out if it is not caused by fondling or stimulating breasts and not breast-feeding. A clear, sticky discharge can be a sign of breast cancer in some people, especially if it only occurs out of 1 breast. I would never ignore any kind of discharge no matter the color to be on the safe side. It can be a cause of a problem that requires treatment or even breast cancer.
