Hello, me again. Our 9 month son is impossible to change. As soon as we lay him down to take his clothes/diaper off, he flops over and sits up. I try to 'make' him stay down, and he bawls.....then flops over and sits up. Eventually, he almost always gives in, but remains bawling.....I was hoping he would figure it out, but he doesn't seem to. Now, his mother sings to him, and that helps a bit. I was wondering if we are confusing him, in that his mother is almost rewarding him for doing it? Or am I expecting too much from him, and should just let him do it, and be much more patient? I just can't get his diaper on right if he isn't laying down...our neighbor with a 13 month daughter changes her standing up. My sister's 12 month old son, lays still......go figure.
