Feeding time a nightmare

I must admit that we are very lucky with Nicole in some respects. She eats generally the right things. Believe it or not, she prefers brocolli over chocolate.

However, she is becoming VERY strong willed and if she does not want to eat, she won't. She will just use her hands, squeeze it and throw it on the floor. It may be a battle of wills because you can see her stare at me before she does it!

Anyway, although she likes the right things, I think she is not eating enough.

Anyone any methods to get a child to eat because she is told to rather than just because she feels like it?
