One parent had a real problem and this was shown in the program. The child would throw a huge paddy if he could not get what he wanted. She was advised to just look down and ignore him when he threw a tantrum and when he stopped, then went to talk to him.

It looked like it would not work at first but after a while, no more tantrums!! It was very good.

Something similar might work for you. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
