Hi Kendra,

I know everyone is going to have bad feelings toward me, but I actually like your honesty. I too was spanked as a child and turned out to be a good kid, my brothers and sisters too. I just haven't been able to spank my kids. I have a hard time even being very firm with my kids. I really like the statement you made about being firm and direct with your kids. I wish I could be more firm and direct but haven't been able to bring myself to it. Like I have said before, many of my friends who are psychologists say you have to or they will run all over you as teenagers. That definitely would worry me.
