My wife didn't want to have our boy see her cry when she left him, so she gave ME the task of dropping him off for his first day of daycare. He was fine, but I cried! Having a kid really softened me up. It will take a few days, but he'll be just fine. Truly, I think it's harder on the parents than it is on the kids.
