I'm in super need of some advice. My daughter was born in June and Christmas is soon approaching. I still have not sent out Birth Annoucnements with a Photo and she's almost 6 months old. This has really become a burden for me because many family and friends have not seen my daughter yet and I realize I need to get these out. We're not financially well off right now and annoucements are really expensive. I guess I was waiting for us to be in a better situation, but I can no longer put this off. I was planning on sending out Christmas cards as well this year with a picture of us as a family. Now I'm wondering if I should just send out my daughter's picture this way instead to cut down on cost. Would this be etiquettely wrong? Should I just spend the money, send out Annoucements and 2 weeks later send out Christmas cards? I don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
